Greenkeeping draws appreciation from several visitors, though impressions of conditioning vary, and some have noted that on-going construction work and slow pace of play can affect the experience. Off the course, the clubhouse and terrace are regarded as a welcoming spot for a meal and a drink, with social events occasionally on the calendar. Overall the reputation is of a friendly, atmospheric regional course best enjoyed for its natural beauty.
