About the course
Public parkland 18 in Woy Woy with watery par-3s and a lively club scene
Everglades Golf Club is a public 18-hole parkland course in Woy Woy, New South Wales, playing to a par of 70 over 4,889 metres with 42 mapped bunkers. The layout features several testing holes, including a par-5 2nd guarded by mounds, bunkers and a rear water hazard behind a large sloping green, and a tricky par-3 4th that demands a full water carry to a green falling away on both sides. The narrow par-4 3rd is protected by water and trees on the left and two deep bunkers right of a long undulating green. On-site facilities include a pro shop, restaurant and dining, coaching and parking.
This is an older-style club that players describe as busy, popular and welcoming to a mixed crowd, with a strong social side built around dining, live shows and events. The course rewards accuracy and good touch around the greens, where water, bunkers and undulating putting surfaces keep even familiar holes interesting. Visitors consistently single out the food and value, particularly for members, and the friendly front-of-house staff. Recent renovations have drawn positive notice and added to the lively atmosphere, though some guests note that big event nights can get loud and crowded. Overall it carries a reputation as an enjoyable, community-focused day out that suits golfers of all levels.

A gentle opener. Longer hitters may wish to position the ball for a full wedge into the small green. A large eucalypt guards the right side approach whilst two bunkers will grab anything hit left of centre.
