About the course
Clifftop parkland golf with ocean views over Walkers Beach
Gerringong Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-68 parkland course measuring 5,578 metres in New South Wales, Australia, set between the seaside towns of Gerringong and Gerroa and adjacent to Walkers Beach. Designed by Al Howard and established in 1982, the layout features around 10 bunkers and several water hazards amid rolling farmland hills. The daily-fee club offers a driving range, pro shop, restaurant/dining, coaching, parking, and both cart and club hire.
Players consistently praise the spectacular coastal and rural views, with many remarking on the outlook from seemingly every tee and green. The course has a reputation as a genuinely challenging test, thanks in part to its rolling terrain and the lakes and ponds dotted across the layout, and reviewers often recommend taking a cart even though the walk is manageable for the reasonably fit. The friendly, helpful service from the pro shop staff comes up again and again, as does the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere of this community club. Visitors frequently describe the setting as magical and say they're keen to return.
