About the course
Two championship parkland courses by the scenic Murray River
Rich River Golf Club is a daily-fee parkland facility in Moama, New South Wales, set near the Murray River. It offers two distinct 18-hole championship courses, known as East and West, with around 115 mapped bunkers across the layouts. The courses recently completed a $6 million master plan adding enhanced water hazards, wider fairways and landing areas, revised bunkering and a new irrigation system. On-site facilities include a driving range, pro shop, restaurant and dining, cart and club hire, coaching and parking.
Rich River enjoys a strong reputation as one of the more popular golf destinations along the Murray, and visitors consistently praise its sublime, well-groomed fairways and fast, true greens. Players note the East course typically presents a sterner test, particularly with more water in play, while the West offers a more open and forgiving round. Beyond the golf, the expansive clubhouse, well-stocked pro shop, quality dining and on-site accommodation make it a favourite for golfing getaways and stay-and-play breaks. Service in the bistro and bar earns regular compliments, though a few visitors have found the pro shop staff less welcoming. Overall the impression is of a large, well-run resort-style facility that suits golfers of all standards.
