About the course
Historic 1904 sandbelt course with sand greens in the Copper Triangle
Kadina Golf Course is a daily-fee, 18-hole sandbelt course located in Kadina, South Australia, on the Yorke Peninsula. Established in 1904, it was an inaugural member of the SA Golf Association, and its current layout was designed by Vern Morcom. The course features sand greens and has hosted a PGA Legends Tour Pro-Am and The SA Sandgreens on two occasions. On-site facilities include a clubhouse with restaurant and dining.
Regarded as one of the finest courses in the Copper Triangle and Yorke Peninsula, Kadina is known as a genuinely challenging test where wayward hookers and slicers are quickly punished. Visitors consistently praise the well-conditioned fairways and the inviting sand greens, often crediting the dedicated team of volunteers who keep the course in fine shape. The club has a reputation for being friendly and welcoming, with players noting it's well worth the trip, particularly in winter. Beyond the golf, the venue earns regular praise for its clubhouse and excellent function facilities, which are described as continually being upgraded. The overall impression is of a sociable, community-minded club that pairs a testing layout with a warm reception.
