Goulburn Valley

Golfing in the Goulburn Valley rewards travellers willing to wander the back roads of central-northern Victoria. This is orchard and dairy country, threaded by the Goulburn and Murray rivers, and its clubs deliver excellent value on well-grassed, mature fairways. Mitiamo Golf Course and Murchison Golf Club both earn five-star raves, while Kyabram Parkland Golf Course is a polished local favourite.

The regional centre, Shepparton Golf Club, brings genuine sandbelt-style turf to the valley, and Nagambie Golf Club makes a fine companion to the lakeside wineries. To the east the land lifts into the High Country for a natural touring loop.
