Golf in the City of Salisbury

Golf in Adelaide's north is public, compact and practical, with Salisbury's three courses spread between the gulf shore and the Para Escarpment. Mawson Lakes Golf Course is the only full 18, a par-68 parkland layout with a surprising country feel, little sand to worry about and a couple of rollercoaster greens that players enjoy. The Gums at Edinburgh is a nine-holer that plays to par 72 off alternate tees, and it is the best presented of the three: fully watered kikuyu fairways lined with trees, bent grass greens regarded as some of the best around, and creative bunkering. Little Para at Paralowie is a par-27 short course of par 3s beneath river red gums, set up for beginners, families and a quick hit, with a driving range and mini golf on site.
