Golfing in City of Port Adelaide Enfield
From the River Torrens out to Outer Harbor, golf in Port Adelaide Enfield is entirely public, much of it council-owned, and built around short, accessible rounds rather than championship tests. Valley View is the only 18-holer, a municipal course of par 3s in Thomas Turner Reserve that is ideal for beginners, juniors and anyone sharpening their iron play. It shares Belgravia Leisure management with Glanville, a 1968 par-3 nine near the coast at Semaphore South, set among houses beside historic Glanville Hall, where the driver can stay in the bag. Regency Park Community Golf Course, just north of the CBD and open seven days, is a parkland nine with bent grass greens, some long holes and plenty of bunkering. North Haven Golf Club adds another open, approachable nine by the gulf, one that toughens up when the sea breeze blows.
