Golf in the City of Busselton

On Geographe Bay, at the gateway to the Margaret River wine region, Busselton's golf is all public and built for holidaymakers as much as locals. Dunsborough Lakes is the championship option: an Alan Murray design opened in 1993 and threaded around 10 lakes, tree-lined fairways and housing, with wide landing areas and reliable turf; since 2014 its members have been buying the course and clubhouse. Dunsborough Country Club offers another 18 holes near town, rustic bushland golf with kangaroos on the fairways and a lively community clubhouse for afterwards. Busselton Golf Club is the coastal country course, a par-72 18 with public tee times for members and visitors alike, and a straightforward, traditional round close to town.
