About the course
Undulating bushland nine in the Central Coast hinterland, with hilltop views
Mangrove Mountain Memorial Golf Course is a public 9-hole parkland course on Hallards Road in Central Mangrove, New South Wales, established in 1974. Set in undulating bushland in the hinterland of the Central Coast, it offers views across the hinterland and glimpses of ocean white caps on clear days, with plans for a future 18-hole extension. Facilities include a pro shop, restaurant/dining, cart hire and club hire.
Players consistently describe a scenic, hilly layout perched in the bushland hinterland, where elevation changes create plenty of interesting decisions off the tee and around the greens. As a 9-hole course, it lets you play the front and take a second crack on the back, with short par 5s defended by notably steep green gradients adding to the challenge. The setting earns frequent praise, from the rolling countryside to the standout views over the mountains and out toward the ocean on a clear day. The clubhouse and bistro draw warm reviews for friendly, attentive service, generous portions and well-priced meals enjoyed with a memorable outlook, lending the whole place a relaxed, welcoming community feel.
