About the course
Greg Norman–designed parkland challenge on the southern Gold Coast
The Glades Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 parkland course in Robina, Queensland, measuring 6278 metres. Designed by Greg Norman, the layout features extensive bunkering with 89 mapped bunkers across the course. Early holes range from a forgiving opening par 4 to a long, demanding second with a deceptive water carry, while the third offers a larger green guarded by deep bunkers and the short fourth plays to the course's smallest, two-tiered green. The course operates on a daily-fee basis and offers a pro shop, restaurant/dining and cart hire.
The Glades enjoys a strong reputation as one of the southern Gold Coast's most enjoyable rounds, with players consistently praising its phenomenal layout and the variety of its green complexes. Many describe the fairways as wide and forgiving off the tee, with the real challenge coming from clever approach shots into well-protected greens. Reviewers regularly single out friendly, helpful staff and good food in the clubhouse as part of the experience. Putting surfaces draw frequent praise for their condition, though impressions vary, with some visitors noting periods where bunkers and greens slipped from their best and the practice range showing its age. Pace of play can occasionally stretch a round, but the overall sentiment points to a memorable, challenging course many are keen to play again.
