West Gippsland's friendly parkland hidden gem, beautifully kept
Trafalgar Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 public parkland course in Trafalgar, Victoria, Australia, measuring 5614 metres with 15 mapped bunkers. Established in 1909, the layout was shaped over time by a series of local hands including Frank Biggs, Les Symons, Eric Donaldson, Albert Morrison, Ivor Ashby, Joe Marino, George Browne and Bob O'Connell, with George Lowe of Warragul Golf Club, and was later refined by Vern Morcom. The atmosphere is relaxed and uncrowded, making it popular for both social groups and competition rounds. Visitors planning a game are wise to check ahead, as competitions run on most days. Overall, the impression is of a friendly, community-run club that offers great value and a memorable warm welcome at the 19th hole.
