Golfing in Goulburn Mulwaree Council
On the Southern Tablelands beside the Hume Highway, Goulburn Mulwaree keeps its golf simple: a historic country club and a volunteer-run short course, both open to the public. Goulburn Golf Club, formed around 1899, is one of the oldest country clubs in New South Wales, and its par-71 championship course near the centre of town is a relaxed, well-kept parkland layout mixing long par fives with par fours and par threes. The clubhouse bistro, with a view over the fairways, makes for an easy finish. Tully Park Early Birds at Bradfordville is the quicker alternative, a 12-hole public course of just over 3,000 metres kept in fine order by a dedicated band of volunteers. Easy to walk and easy to get a game on most days, it is fun, friendly golf for any standard.
