Golfing in Randwick City Council
Clifftop golf defines Randwick, with three of its five courses lined up along the coast at Little Bay. St Michael's, dating from 1938 and ranked among Australia's top 50, mixes wide fairways with iconic ocean-side holes where a low ball flight pays off in the wind. The Coast, which became a full 18 holes when it officially opened in 1965, wraps the cliffs with sea views from every hole and welcomes the public daily, while the NSW Golf Club is a par-75 championship links of tight, winding fairways and large greens. Down the road at Malabar, Randwick Golf Course is a short par-59 public layout overlooking Long Bay. Inland at Kingsford, The Australian is a private members' championship parkland, heavily bunkered and demanding accuracy off the tee.
