Golfing in Eurobodalla Shire Council
Most of Eurobodalla is bush, national park and state forest running down the South Coast, but its four public courses all sit within reach of the water. Catalina Club at Batemans Bay leads the way: established in 1920 and named after the seaplanes that landed there in the 1950s, it has 27 holes on the Clyde River estuary and is listed among Australia's Top 100 Public Access courses. Narooma is the scenic one, a clifftop links-style 18 above the ocean with views toward Montague Island and plenty of bunkering, and it hosts the Seahorse Classic and the Narooma Open. Moruya dates from 1925 and was redesigned by Al Howard in 1966, a par-69 championship course with a relaxed welcome for all abilities. Tuross Head is a nine-hole club whose dual tees turn it into a full 18-hole round.
