Golfing in City of Casey
Casey's golf mirrors the area itself, a fast-growing stretch of Melbourne's outer south-east running from the Dandenong foothills to Western Port: some of it new, some of it long established. The headline course is Settlers Run at Botanic Ridge, a Greg Norman design run as a members' club that welcomes visitors, with a picturesque, heavily bunkered championship layout and pure greens. Ranfurlie in Cranbourne South is a public Mike Clayton layout from 2001, also generously bunkered, with an interactive driving range that draws beginners and regulars alike. Montuna at Guys Hill (1947) is open to the public and plays compact but hilly through the trees on both sides of Cardinia Creek. Churchill Park at Endeavour Hills, dating from 1926, is a members' club that takes visitors, with doglegs, fast greens and resident kangaroos.
