Golfing in Isaac Regional Council
Golf in Isaac follows the towns across a vast stretch of Central Queensland, from historic Clermont to mining communities such as Dysart, and it is public country golf throughout. Clermont Golf Club, established in 1926, is a nine-hole layout playing to par 71, with dual tees so you can go around twice for a full round: an unpretentious game that suits locals and visitors alike. Moranbah Golf Club runs a 10-hole layout alongside its Woods & Irons restaurant; the setting is at its best around sunset and the clubhouse is a popular gathering spot. Glenden and Middlemount each have a public 18-hole course. Glenden is a quiet, out-of-the-way track whose free RV camping draws travellers, while Middlemount has a community clubhouse and bistro. Moranbah and Clermont also compete in the Golf Central Highlands district.
